STUDENT LEADERSHIP
Student Council
The Student Council has had another busy year and
are proud of the work they do to ensure the student
voice is heard in our school. Grace from Focus Ireland
visited our school on May 7th and we presented her
with a cheque for €1,226 which was raised from our
sleepover in October. We also proudly supported our
two local Darkness Into Light walks in Carnew and
Tinahely this year.
We are fortunate to have a supportive and openminded management team in Coláiste Bhríde who
always make time to hear our ideas and advise us
on the best course of action. Ellie and Adam
presented recently at a Parents’ Association
meeting and gave an account of how much the
Student Council has meant to them over the
course of their six years in school.
They also presented a report to the Board of
Management which was a very positive
experience. We wish our sixth-year students well
as they head for pastures new and thank them
for their dedication and hard work on the
council.
The student council
has made lots of prog
