French Exchange
In March 2025, we welcomed the French students to Ireland for the return leg of the exchange. They
stayed with Irish host families and joined our students in classes at school. This gave them a taste of
the Irish school experience and the chance to practise their English. The French group also visited
several of Dublin’s most iconic attractions, including Trinity College and the Book of Kells, Kilmainham
Gaol and Croke Park. They also enjoyed a walk through St Stephen’s Green and explored the streets of
Temple Bar.
Once again, the exchange was a great success this year and as always was a valuable experience for all
involved. Our exchange programme each year helps students to develop their language skills and also
fosters cross-cultural understanding and lasting friendships. Coláiste Bhríde’s Erasmus+ Accreditation
status and the associated grant continue to significantly subsidise the cost of the exchange to families.
