TY UPDATES
Student Enterprise
The Transition Year student enterprise programme has been highly active and engaging throughout
the term. Our TY entrepreneurs showcased their innovative mini-company products to the school
community, generating strong interest as they progressed towards taking ofÞcial orders during the
TY Market Day held on 3 December.
As part of the event, students welcomed visitors from local primary schools, as well as First and
Second Year groups from within the school, providing an opportunity to demonstrate their products,
discuss their business ideas, and gain valuable real-world experience in sales and customer
engagement.
In addition to the in-school activities, several mini-companies represented the programme at a
Christmas Fair held at The Gap on Sunday, 7 December, further broadening their entrepreneurial
experience and public exposure.
Overall, the programme continues to foster creativity, teamwork and business skills, reßecting the
strong commitment and enthusiasm of the participating students
