Return Erasmus visit by Italian delegation and ‘Unity
under the Lights Concert’
A wonderful evening of eclectic music was held in St. Brigid’s Hall, Carnew, as Coláiste Bhríde warmly
welcomed our Erasmus+ partner school, Liceo Vasco Beccaria from Govone di Mondovì, Italy, on their
return visit. The programme offered a vibrant blend of performances from the visiting Italian
students, our school Concert Band, the school choir, and a spirited debut from the Þrst-year choir.
The night ended with a joint performance of classic and seasonal favourites, followed by the Italian
and Irish national anthems—an uplifting celebration of friendship, culture, and shared musical
expression through the Erasmus+ programme. Sincere thanks are extended to all performers, to the
parents who provided generous hospitality, and to Ms. Teresa Glynn, Mr. Willie Dunne, and Mr. David
Callanan for their dedicated preparation. A Þnal word of thanks goes to Mr. Pat Brennan, whose
engaging presentation and humour kept the audience captivated throughout.
