Open Evening 9 October
The annual School Open Evening on Thursday, 9 October was a successful showcase of the talent,
creativity, and energy within our school community. Staff and student guides welcomed parents and
prospective students, offering tours of all departments.
Transition Year mini-companies were a standout feature, presenting innovative products and
business ideas. The Concert Band added to the atmosphere with uplifting performances throughout
the evening.
Practical subjects provided engaging demonstrations: Science experiments, Engineering and
Technology projects, Home Economics baking samples, and vibrant Art displays. Each department
presented high-quality student work, highlighting strong achievement across the curriculum.
Information stands from Wriggle (iPads), Erasmus, Gaelbhratach, extracurricular activities, and digital
learning offered further insight. Teachers were available to discuss courses and pastoral support,
reßecting the school’s commitment to academic excellence and student development.
