Primary School Sampler Days
On Thursday, 18 September sixth class students from Annacurra, Aughrim, Ballyduff, Ballyellis,
Clonegal, Craanford, Monaseed and Shillelagh No.1 attended workshops in Art, P.E. Music,
Engineering and Science.
On Tuesday, 30 September our school hosted sixth class students from Scoil Aodán Naofa, All Saints,
Tinahely, Kilcommon, Coolafancy, Crossbridge, Scoil Mhuire na nAird and Ballyconnell who also
experienced the above workshops.
As well as getting to sample some of the subjects studied at second-level, the over 200 sixth class
students in attendance also got a sense of how a secondary school operates and facilities that are
available within.
