Most recently, the Senior A Team produced a commanding performance against Carlow CBS in the
South Leinster Championship, taking control early and running out comprehensive winners to book a
place in the semi-Þnals.
Coaches Mr Finn and Mr Hegarty have been impressed by some strong performances as the squad
continues to make impressive progress. Well done to all involved.
Junior ladies football team
Coached by Ms Hickey and Ms Lennon, our Junior Ladies Football team enjoyed a hugely successful and
busy term, recording impressive Leinster wins over Presentation Wexford (10-14 to 2-9), Loreto Wexford
(4-10 to 3-10) and Gorey Community School (10-12 to 3-7) before defeating St Mary’s New Ross (5-12 to 59) in a remarkable comeback that saw the girls overturn an 11-point half-time deÞcit to win by 3 points.
These results secured a place in the Leinster Quarter-Final against St Mary’s Edenderry, in which
unfortunately they were narrowly defeated.
In the Wicklow A championship, wins over Blessington CC and Coláiste Craobh Abhainn, Kilcoole, saw
the team top their group and progress to the county semi-Þnal. We are extremely proud of all the girls
have achieved so far and look forward to seeing them continue their strong run of form next term.
