Senior Ladies Football
Coached by Ms Heffernan and Ms Redmond, the girls have enjoyed an outstanding season to date,
competing in both the Wicklow A and Leinster B Championships, producing consistently strong and
exciting performances. They claimed the Wicklow A Championship with a superb run of form,
culminating with the defeat of St. Kevin’s Dunlavin in the Þnal. Having already impressed throughout
the campaign, including a memorable four-point victory over local rivals FCJ Bunclody, the girls now
turn their attention to the upcoming Leinster B Final. Qualifying for the Senior B Leinster Þnal is a
massive step forward for this team after winning the Leinster ‘C’ championship last year. With continued
determination, the team now face Loreto Balbriggan on the 17th December, and they are hopeful of
bringing the championship home.
Junior and Senior Hurling
The senior hurling squad, under the
guidance of Mr Kevin Morris and Mr Pat
Nolan, has enjoyed a strong campaign and
progressed to the South Leinster Semi-Þnal,
scheduled for early January. A superb
performance in their Þnal group match
against Creagh College, Gorey, secured their
place in the knockout stages, following a
narrow defeat in their opening Þxture.
The junior hurlers, also coached by Mr Morris
and Mr Nolan, reached the South Leinster
Semi-Þnal, where they were ultimately
defeated by the eventual champions, St
