Fergal’s College, Rathdowney, Co. Laois. Their
path to the semi-Þnal included an impressive
victory over Knockbeg College, Carlow, and a
hard-earned draw with Creagh College, Gorey, in
the group stages.
Both squads have shown commitment,
determination and continued development
throughout the term, reßecting the strong
coaching and support provided by their
mentors.
Equestrian
BARNADOWN
Under the leadership of Chiefs d’Équipe Ms Mary
Rothwell, Ms Miriam Rickerby, and Mr Stephen
Sharry, the school’s equestrian teams are enjoying a
highly successful year to date. We wish them
continued success for the remainder of the league,
Þnishing in March.
Our annual interschools competition was held in
Barnadown on 19 October, attracting riders from
more than 50 schools across Ireland and featuring
approximately 190 rounds of jumping. Coláiste
Bhríde delivered an exceptional performance on the
day. The school claimed victory in the Open Team
Competition and secured both the Novice and Open
‘Best Turned Out’ awards.
